Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it and how you stay in control.
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Who we are
This policy explains how AEVRO ("AEVRO", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit our website, buy our products or contact us. We are based at:
AEVRO
First Floor, FTBI, NIT Rourkela Computer Centre, T1-109,
National Institute of Technology, Sector 1,
Rourkela, Odisha 769008
Email: shaurya.aevro@gmail.com
We follow applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Information we collect
When you place an order: your name, delivery address, phone number and email address, and the products you ordered.
When you pay: payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. You enter your card, UPI or bank details on their secure page. We do not see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking password. We receive only confirmation of whether the payment succeeded, plus a payment reference.
When you join our email list or ask to be notified about a product: your email address, the time you signed up and, for launch notifications, which product you asked about.
When you contact us: your name, email address, order details and anything you include in your message, such as photos or videos of a product problem.
When you browse the site: your browser and device send us standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Our hosting provider may keep this in server logs for security and troubleshooting. Your browser also stores your light or dark theme choice on your own device so we can remember it. This is not shared with us.
We do not currently use advertising trackers or analytics tools on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where the law requires, ask for your consent.
How we use your information
- To process, pack, ship and deliver your order, and to send order confirmations and tracking updates.
- To handle replacements, refunds, warranty claims and customer support.
- To send you news about new AEVRO products, early access and launches, only if you joined our email list or asked to be notified about a launch.
- To prevent fraud, keep our website secure and fix technical problems.
- To keep records we are required to keep, such as tax and accounting records, and to meet other legal obligations.
Why we are allowed to use it
We use your information because you gave it to us for a purpose (such as placing an order or joining our list), because it is needed to carry out a purchase you made, or because the law requires it. Where we rely on your consent, such as for marketing emails, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with people who need it to serve you, and only for that purpose:
- Payment partner: Razorpay, to take and confirm your payment.
- Courier and logistics partners: your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver your parcel.
- Technology providers: for example Google (Google Workspace, Google Sheets, Google Fonts), which we use to store our email list, receive our email and load fonts on this site. When a font loads, your browser connects to Google, which can see your IP address.
- Authorities: where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. If AEVRO is ever merged with or acquired by another business, your information may be transferred to the new owner, who must respect this policy.
Some of these providers store or process data on servers outside India. We choose providers that protect data with appropriate safeguards.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage only to remember your theme choice. Our payment partner and courier partners may use their own cookies on their own pages, which are covered by their policies. You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
- Order and invoice records: for as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting.
- Support messages: as long as needed to resolve your request, then for a reasonable period in case of follow-up or warranty claims.
- Email list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your address.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect it
Our website uses HTTPS encryption, we limit access to personal information to people who need it, and we rely on partners that follow recognised security practices. No website or storage system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information, unless we must keep it by law;
- stop sending you marketing emails, or withdraw any consent you gave;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
Email shaurya.aevro@gmail.com from the address you used with us. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will reply within 30 days. To unsubscribe from marketing emails, email us with the subject "Unsubscribe".
Children
Our website is not directed at anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to place orders and share information on your behalf. If we learn that we collected a child's information without a parent's or guardian's consent, we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our site may link to other websites, such as social media and our payment partner. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will say so on our website or by email.

If you have a complaint about how we handle your information, or about any part of your shopping experience, please contact our Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.
